I haven't cleared all the notifications, but I did get a full day's worth finished. It's already late in the afternoon and I need to do two things, get something to eat and work on a book.
Getting something to eat is a puzzle, but I have meat out so that's a start. If I need to eat four hours before I go to bed, I need to start preparing something now.
As for the book, I'm still working on a map idea for it. I'm getting closer to what I want. I'll know it when I see it. I also want to do more than work out the map. I want to work on the book itself. Right now I'm editing/reading New Horizons, the first book so I can proceed properly with the second and third.
So, if I'm going to get anything done, I need to get started on that. Tomorrow is laundry day, so I will have another short day here.

i'm sure yer gonna get the kinks worked out'n that map'n thingies'll jest fall 'nto place.
my friday? 100 degrees, winds 'f 15-25mph. managed to get some purty good pics 'f some hummers finally. which's good, soon they'll be migratin'.

well....if'n the weather folks've 't correctly, yer 'pposed to've a warmer'n normal september... 98 here currently, 'nly savin' grace 's been odd cloud cover. watered my potted plants early this morn, garden 's well. such needed done 'gain 'lready. reckon this's gonna be a 3x a day waterin' season 'r jest let 't all go. grasshoppers 're gettin' more joy out'ta all than myself.

I had a rather rough day, I drove down to New Haven which is a 40-minute drive to brings the boys down to see their father at the hospital but he had a turn for the worse and had to be placed on a ventilator again so it was very emotional. Now he is heavily sedated.

I did and didn't. I have the map finished and am happy with it. I only need to add in the lakes, rivers, deserts, mountains, volcanoes, things like that. I got one chapter worked on before I needed to call it quits.
I'm up far too early for a Saturday, but that's okay. I can catch up as much as possible before I head to my son's to do laundry.

I am finding all the days are flying by. I can't believe that summer is almost over. It has been so hot here in Florida and I cannot get the energy to go out in the heat and work on my gardens. We haven't had rain for 2 days and if we don't tomorrow I will be forced to get out there in the heat. Have a nice weekend.

It is nice summer is almost over. I must say it wasn't near as bad here as in the past. Low humidity and temps no higher than the 80s with an occasional 90, but not many days like that. So, it was nice this year. My kind of summer.

The first is finished. I've started editing it. I've also started the second book, now named New Horizons - Blue Fire, Declaration of War. I also started the third book before the second was finished, New Horizons - Change of Heart. I've got the beginning chapters of that one started and can't go any further with it until I get book 2 finished. No, it's not a trilogy. This is a ten book series I'll be working on for quite a while. I don't plan to publish this series until I have at least the first three finished.
