Our Idaho State Fair started today. I used to love it so much. Always had to see the animals. Used to work there and even travelled one year. Won't even being going out there this year. This year they have alligators and camels. What do you have at your fair?

What did you do when you worked for the fair? I've not been to our State Fair though I've been to the State Fair grounds before. They do not have a big enough parking lot to be honest. Our local fair, which actually has a lot of controversy at the moment as they want to change the name (Dixie Classic is the current name, and has been the name for many many years)... Hmm, what does it have? Pigs, Chickens, Horses, I think even a donkey or two. Cows, sheep... I guess the standard. We may have even had a camel one year, if memory serves. I don't go every year.

I worked in one of the games in the carnival. We have all manner of animals here. Don't remember any camels though.

@celticeagle Oh okay, see, I would be too stressed working in such a situation. I'm introverted, that would be too much interaction for me in one day. I am pretty sure our city is called the "camel city" sometimes. It goes by so many different names...

@celticeagle I don't know that I have ever really liked noise. I've always been the "gets into her own imagination" type person. I can recall times in my youth that I was miserable because of all of the noise.

@celticeagle I always went to watch those. Many county fairs dont have the old things anymore.

I have never been to an animal fair here, I suppose there are cows, donkeys, pigs, nothing exotic for sure.

Any animals you'd see on a farm.

@celticeagle At the zoos there are exotic animals, but not at the fairs.

I have always wanted to go to a state fair, It sounds fun to see alligators and camels. One time I would enjoy traveling to as many state fairs as I could.

I have never been to our state fair. But I have ridden a camel before at a petting zoo.

I hear that camels can be mean. I'd be a little nervous.

How cool is that? We have the normal animals at our fairs.
