Do you envy someone?

How do you feel about your friend having more expensive phone than yours?
Do you feel inferior when you see your friend have bought a very expensive phone that you cannot afford? For me, personally, it doesn't bother me at all. To some other people, maybe, they envy their friends having something better. What do you call someone who is happy when others are down, and feel bad when others are rich or successful?

I sort of envy my sis because she has a pretty good hubby...but honestly he isn't perfect (although maybe perfect for her), and I have heard him say some not so nice things about her, if he is saying that around us, what is he saying when we are not around? Nonetheless, he is a pretty nice guy.

Iduno but I think that feeling good about the other person having a better gadgets or anything is a much better feeling than being jealous that he has and I don’t have. There are times I feel it but I just think that I do have some other good in me that I should focus on and just be happy for that other person that may have a better one.

I never envied anyone I was satisfied with what I had. Sometimes what I had was better than others and other times not,.

Literally NO. Even thou some of my friends have expensive phones and can buy anything I don't mind it because I know that after I finish my study and got a job I could buy anything I want but those expensive things are not important to me. What's important to me is that to establish my own business first hahaha
