I am worried for her...

It's about my household help. She is not well since last two days and has not come to work. Just after my lunch I called her up to find about her health. And it seems worrisome.
Her fever is not coming down and she has severe headache and bodyache. She told me that she even got some rashes on her body since afternoon.
I am really worried. Dengue cases are reported from her locality. And just a month back, there was a loss of life of a 16 year old. He was son of her cousin.
Poor thing, she is alone with her sister family in neighborhood. Her husband had gone to their native few days back and is now stuck there in flood.
She sounded very weak. So I and my husband are going to visit her and take her for doctor check up.
We are going to put mosquito repellent before we leave. I am also going to carry the spray. I am really scared of dengue. We all went through so much suffering when my husband got it two years back.
So I will be gone for few hours.
Need all the wishes and luck. Please pray for her.

She is tested positive with dengue. I got the reports early morning.

@Nevena83 Her platelets count is not so bad. So no need to hospitalize. Diet and medicine and lot of rest. We have to keep tracking the platelets count every alternate day.

@LadyDuck We got the report for today's sample. Seems platelets have improved a little though still quite below the normal range. Let's wait and see. Praying for her.

We took her to doctor and got all the test done. Report shows positive for dengue.

Thanks for your prayer and wishes. She is diagnosed with dengue and so will take some days to recover. Needs to be alert about it.

She is tested positive for dengue. So it will take few weeks for her to recover fully.

hope things are OK with her and not a case of dangue. Its a dangerous disease and once its catch it spread so fast and people leave their life.

It is a case of dengue. Glad that we got the test done in time. Her platelet count is still not so low and we can take care of it through diet and constant monitoring.

Blood reports have come in the morning and it is dengue. Even in India,we get too many cases of Dengue during monsoon. It is a breeding season for mosquitoes.

Good that we did so. She has been tested positive for dengue and luckily we got it at an early stage. She should be fine with care and constant monitoring.

@Janet357 Not now. Her platelets count is still not so low. It is around 80,000. So we can help her at home. But a daily blood sample has to be tested to see that it does not drop and it's improving.
