I am millionairely happy today!

Today, as I was always sitting with my 4-year-old son Luciano, waiting in our yard for the arrival of electricity which, by daily rationing, leaves 6 hours a day, I live in a city with oil floor and it is very hot at almost 38 degrees, which makes us noon too heavy, I improvised my children two hammocks with ropes and sheets that I had. and they happy because in spite of the heat, in my yard is surrounded by mango trees that provide shade and some wind, even so, thoughts of sadness invade me sometimes, when I see my children suffer from heat in a country that Every day it falls apart because of the dictatorship and the inefficiency of the government, I am sometimes afraid of the future of my children and it is my daily thinking, like many of the Venezuelans who have already emigrated to all sides of the world because of the situation. Then I look at the faces of my children and it fills me with sadness not being able to give them something better, however today, I talked with Luciano my oldest child about what he would ask Santa Claus for Christmas, and to my surprise you know what he answered? He told me that he would ask Santa for a blender and refrigerator and an air conditioner so that his mom could make food for him and his younger brother Alessandro and that his mom would not suffer more heat. He is only 4 years old and I, well, I am speechless, my son has a beautiful heart of gold, I wanted to cry with happiness when he told me that. Perhaps many who follow my discussions will think that I always emphasize that I am a person of humble resources, but no, I am a person who always wants to emphasize that, despite being economically humble, with the love of my children and God, I am a Millionairely happy person! I am humble, but not poor, because poverty comes from a weak mind, but humility comes from the soul and from someone who knows that things can improve. Photo: He is my child Luciano.

If the suffering has been very great, I didn't think about my life that it would be like that. But like Tom Hanks's movie "The Terminal", he tells the guards at the airport "I can wait, I know how to wait" and I keep waiting for my future to change, at least for my children.

@TiarasOceanView Oh, thank you for your prayers, really, I think that the best thing a person does for their peers and that shows that we really care about them is to have them in prayer. I appreciate it so much

Your son's reaction is a direct reflection on you and your parenting skills. You are doing a wonderful job with your two sons. You are right in thinking that with God in your heart, that all will be well. He will take care of you and your lovely children.

@JudyEv That's right, that's motivation, and it's not just about carrying loads like a kind of conformism, no, I really feel that this is my place, here I want to be with my children, with them I don't need anything

I am working for it, I am very patient friend, and I know that no moment can last for a lifetime, my reward would be to see the children become adult and stable men, I am not a perfectionist of the socialite, that is, I aspire that my Children be happy as they want to live and be happy, no matter what they choose in their lives, I only ask God to always be on the path of good.

@YuleimaVzla I am sorry about the electricity situation and the oil floor. I am so so sorry it is hard for you and your children and you cannot give them a better life than what you have, What a smart kid that is. Thank you for sharing all that with us.

You are having such hardships in your country. To find the "silver lining" in a economically troubled situation shows a wonderful strength and determination. All the best to you and I hope things in your country get better soon.
