And the update on my Nan....

I have also been meaning to post this update on my Nan for a little while too.
So last month my Nan had to have a full hysterectomy and a growth was found. I'm a little bit confused as my dad is sure the whole growth was taken out but I could have sworn my Nan said just part of it was taken out for testing.
Either way, this growth was tested and thankfully it is non-cancerous but could turn cancerous....Actually that makes it sound like there is still some in there....I don't really know the medical term for this growth but that is all I know about it. My Nan is doing fine in regards to all that so that's all good.
And that is the update on my Nanny.
****Photo is mine. This was from my Nan's birthday on 4th of August. I bought her that tea cup and spoon that's on the left and a bunch of flowers. My dad got her a bunch of flowers and my dad's friend (?) got her that little penguin as my Nan loves penguins****

@VivaLaDani13 when you fear that there is the possibility of a cancer it is normal to be scared and concerned.

@LadyDuck Very true. I was also worried because it's how my Uncle passed. I'm not sure if cancer plays a big role in our family but I got concerned thinking maybe it was. But so glad it wasn't.

@Loverabbit Thank you very much. My Pop didn't actually plan anything. Before my Nan's birthday, he rang me to ask me if anything was going to happen as he didn't know what was going on. My Nan didn't want to do anything special but we still bought her presents at least.

@Loverabbit It's all good. You are correct that he remembered her birthday but on that day when he rang me, he was just asking me if anything was going to happen as no one had mentioned anything to him.

Well the medical part seems a little confusing. I am thinking fibroids, but then they should have just removed them.

@GardenGerty Yeah I really don't understand it. I wish I knew why only some was taken out.

Good that your Nan is doing good. Let's have an eye on the growth and my prayers for her to recover completely from it without having to deal with it again.
Aww! That's a nice bunch of presents for your Nan.

Sounds like they did a biopsy on a piece of it, I don't know why they didn't just remove it , if it doesn't need to be there,
I hope she will be alright, and nothing else happens.

@VivaLaDani13 , I don’t understand why they just don’t take it all out, would make it better for her. It always baffles me when they do partial removals.

@CookieMonster46 I wish I knew. I'd love to ask her actually when I see her next. Maybe she will know why. I don't know if they do that because they didn't know there was anything there and maybe they weren't prepared or something like that. I have no clue but I would love to know why.

@CookieMonster46 That's what I am thinking and I don't know why it wasn't all just removed either. I'm sure there must have been a reason for it. And thank you so very much. I really appreciate it!

Between your dad and nan, no wonder you have been so stressed out. Hard enough to deal with one being down much less two.

@JohnRoberts Thank you for understanding. Yes and that is still only part of what has been going on this year. Things have calmed down but certain issues are still lingering around.
