Needing a Friend and Round the Clock Cleaning

This mid-afternoon, I've talked to my friend Kathy from church about my dilemma. I've briefly mentioned it to her on Sunday before service and showed her the letter today. I've explained to her what I've told my brother last night and my landlady numerous time. I've told her about the 2-year-old urine smell that gets worse in the summer and how I rectified the fly situation the best of my situation. We went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and a small meal. Though I didn't have much of an appetite for lunch and lost sleep last night, I did manage to have a bit of my breakfast croissant sandwich and drank my drink. I've saved my chocolate donut for dessert tonight. We've also talked about alternative living arrangements in case I do get the boot, in which I'm hoping I don't next week. I just want to make my brother and landlady proud and show I can do it on my own with some assistance before my cousin's visit here in 2 weeks for a short weekend visit.
She's going to talk to my priest tomorrow about using some church funds to hire a cleaning service to help me out. Since I can't afford it, I'm going to use all the help I can get right now. She's going to talk to my brother tonight (while he's in Utah for work) and what they can do to help me out. I wish her luck with that call. I'll find out what they said when we go to the final mini church luncheon at the park tomorrow afternoon. Also I've showed her my apartment and introduced her to Wylie--she didn't detect the smell, though it only got bad in the summer. There haven't been any trace of flies, bugs, or ants near my windows or in my kitchen in a week. So far no complaints while my landlady is monitoring the situation. She also suggested on changing the litter or the litter box for Wylie and told me what I need to work on over this weekend. She thinks it might be my old AC unit. Needless to say, she's going to talk to someone at church about free dental clinics for periodontal work. That's something I can hope to do next month when this situation is resolved with my stay here. I'm so blessed and thankful that I have my church and my friends in my life when I'm really feeling low.
Since yesterday morning (and a tiny bit last week), here's what I've worked on so far in my apartment and what I'll be working on for the rest of the week.
Bedroom is done--I'll be tackling my closets this weekend.
Hallway will be worked on tomorrow--I'll work on the closets this weekend too.
Kitchen is partially done--I've done one drawer, some cabinets doors, the countertop and the stove. I'll be doing the floor and the cabinets and the dishwasher and oven's doors tomorrow. The fridge and freezer will be done on Thursday along with the pantry and another round on my countertops on the same day too. Friday, I'll tackle the walls and the banister.
Bathroom--Partially done. I'll cleaned the top of the toilet. I'll do the sink, the floor, and the tub on Thursday and Friday. I'll keep working on my toilet bowl to remove that old litter stain from 5 years ago.
My mini home office--I've vacuumed the floor an hour ago and will do the desk tomorrow.
Living Room-Dining Room Area--the floor for the living room is done and the other half of the floor will be done on Thursday. The table will be done on Friday as I'll fluff the pillows and go behind the couch on Friday too. I'll also dust around the area as well.
I'll be cleaning the bookcases, the foyer, and the chairs this weekend with light cleaning and do one more cursory check on Monday. Phew!
I'm beat. I hope I can sleep better tonight and have some appetite to have pasta for dinner tonight.

Thanks Tina. Me too. I did hear from the public health office when they gave me a phone number, but I'm going to wait until next week to call depending my situation over here.

I am sure it will all work out..but if I were you , I would be looking for a new place to live. Your landlady doesn't sound very understanding.

@snowy22315 That I would love, but it might not be enough I can afford to pay rent and a security deposit. That's what my brother said.

@LovingMyBabies Thank you. I had a nervous breakdown after church service today. I talked to my priest, Kathy, and a few church friends. I doubt my brother would be interested in speaking to him this week.

I did last night. No nausea whatsoever. I did manage to eat it and have leftovers for this weekend.
