I received the above card in the mail today from Gill @Gillygirl. Roses are my favorite flower and this picture is from her garden.

In other news, I got three chapters worked on for Thread of Evidence. I also got the return certification card from the publisher letting me know she received the certified letter. So, it was a great day, and I can get more work done tonight.
With all I've done with the manuscript when I received the edit from her, I'm finding I needed to find the hard copy of the manuscript and put back pieces that were taken out because it left holes in the story and made no sense.
That's what happens when someone is more word count oriented instead of story-oriented. I'm filling those holes and getting the story back on track and making it better.

@just4him yer welcome :) i've yet to figure why some publishers/editors 're so hades bent'n the romance garbage?? there'd be plenty 'f folks who pen such 'n 're most happy to do so. yer like myself, not our genre 'n ya can't make me, lol.

@crazyhorseladycx True. I am working on a couple of romances, but they're years in the making because they aren't my genre. I wanted to see if I could work outside my box or comfort zone. I've had a lot of trouble writing said novels. One though is almost done. I can tell you, I've gone outside the box of your typical romance.
It's much easier for me to write historical fiction, mystery, or science fiction than it is a romance.

Yes, it is hard. I'm glad I didn't shred the hard copy as it has been in the box for shredding for quite some time. The versions I have in my documents isn't this latest one before all the changes were made.
