The mother cat is back but no longer friendly. She comes for food and as you can see in the photo she eats from a separate bowl, Even Lolly and Pinkie prefer eating in separate bowls but they are still close and do all kinds of things together. Learning from animals about how mothers leave their kids to fend for themselves and how when it is needed how loving they are

In my opinion the mother cat is expecting again. Only humans are "protective" toward their children, animals protect them when they need protection, but later they know that their kids must learn to do by themselves. This is the law of nature.

The mother does not live with us any more and therefore if she is going to have babies that will be elsewhere.

@allknowing My neighbor told me yesterday that their female cat has 4 new babies, they are going to give them to their friends as soon as they are 3 months old. I hope to see them soon.

All animal instincts are for survival and ensuring the propagation of their species. The mom is done for its job as per the law of the Nature. Only human beings prolong their parental duties.
