Frugal Food: Breakfast 9/5

I just got boyfriend out the door and off to work. The kids left at 630 with the school bus so now I have a few minutes to pop on here and eat before i start mowing and cleaning the kitchen.
Yeah I know I cleaned the kitchen yesterday, but with a family four and cooking at least once every day, the kitchen usually needs it every day.
Anyhoo on to what this post is really about. Quite awhile ago (like a couple years), I had a series that was all about home cooking on the cheap. Since I'm cooking at least 4-5 nights a week, most of the time more often than that, I figured I would bring that series of posts back.
Anyway to kick off the revival of Frugal Food, I am posting a breakfast edition.
This morning I made sausage breakfast sandwiches. The break down (or as best as I can figure it is below):
(Made 4 breakfast sandwiches)
-Tennessee Pride pre pattied breakfast sausage $0.75
-Sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls $0.50
-Kraft American Sliced cheese $0.40
Total for breakfast: $1.65
I was going to do eggs, but didnt feel like messing with them this morning. So for under the cost of one breakfast sandwich from a fast food place, I made four breakfast sandwiches.

@LadyDuck I try to have protein during every meal. We are way too active to not. I have a feeling we will go to the springs again tomorrow night. Take the canoe out at night and see how different it is.

I havent eaten yet April.
That sausage looks so tasty.
I got some Farmland the other day and it was too fatty for me.
Yes I never stop cleaning here.

We do breakfast for dinner usually about once a week so we buy the bigger and cheaper box of tennessee pride. The whole family likes it..

6.30 seems very early for the kids to have to leave for school. Is that their regular time?

I'm starting to get back into it. I wanna do something like it on my blog too. So I'm hoping this spurt of motivation helps me get back into those things.
