That woman never ceases to amaze me! For 4 days she threatened us with hurricane Dorian comingthisclose and then going away. September 2 we had a few dark clouds, some wind, maybe 20 TOTAL minutes of heavy rain scattered during the day and, yes, the King Tides did their thing which they do threat of a hurricane or not. Then Tuesday came and you would never had known anything was 'about to happen' in South Florida! The sun was out, the sky clear with a few wisp of clouds and the birds (Herons? Ibis? Egrets? I never know) came out to grab all the seeds and worms the water had unearthed just for them. Now we are facing record breaking temperatures 94-96 and not even our regular evening rains in sight! I LOVE that woman!!!

@GreatMartin Good deal since hurricanes are not fun to have in any city.

Weather is still the most elusive thing to track and predict its path. Our technology can see them via satellite but sitll can only predict where it is going but things can change in a glimpse of a moment.

Thank God you are okay. Those glorious birds look like egrets to me. White colored, right?

Well, it's great that Dorian passed us all by here in Florida. You know I never understood the logic while the warnings were out and no one knew what was really going to happen. I had people advising me to go find shelter just in case. I thought to myself here I am safe in my little apartment, in a house that has stood on this spot for 19 years and people are telling me it would be better to leave here, go out on foot, and go among strangers goodness knows where. I am glad the Lord and I had a better understanding. I always say when it comes to things that I don't really understand that the Lord is always with me and second I tell everyone please I am all alone don't step ob my very last nerve which I can ill afford to lose because once everything is said and done I will still have to go on alone and I have to be strong.

We all have to make decisions for our self and hopefully make the right one.
