The black diamond is a toughest from of natural diamond and is known as 'Carbonado'. This is an impure form of poly-crystalline diamond containing diamond, graphite and amorphous carbon. These natural black diamonds are relatively affordable! Some black diamonds are synthetic, that means that that they are man made. The black diamonds were assigned as a symbol of the Hindu God of death Yama. The black diamonds are used in wedding rings as people they believe that they represent eternal, flawless and unchanged love. They also indicate power and masculinity ! Did you know these facts? This is very interesting to find out about black diamonds.I haven't ever seen a black diamond in my life. White diamonds that are clear are very expensive.

@AKRao24 It is a precious stone that one day I hope to own. I saw some emeralds for sale in Colombia. However they were very expensive indeed.

I like the traditional diamond but black diamonds are nice in their own way just not for me.

@infatuatedbby , That is true...but the black diamonds can't shine like white ones as the black ones have the tendency to absorb the light more than reflecting it!

If I am not wrong the diamonds we are getting from Zimbabwe are known as Zimba and they are much cheaper too!

Yes, I can understand! This is something beyond one's imagination that there can be a black diamond and people they use it in wedding rings for the positive belief attached with it!
