Time here and urticaria

Lately, it hasn't been easy for me, my daughter started to have urticaria (hives, nettle rash) and we haven't found out yet what causes this. We went to the doctor and now we are waiting to do the allergies tests but they already told us that in most cases the results of the tests don't give a clear conclusion. I cleaned all her room, including the wardrobe and all her toys but she still has some red spots every day, not so severe as when it started but it still worries me. Since I returned from holidays I have been trying to be more regular here, it helps me to relax but lately, it hasn't been easy for me. I wonder if anyone here suffers from urticaria and if there are natural solutions to help to relieve the symptoms. Photo of my daughter at the beach this summer.

That is too bad, it is a hard diagnosis. I hope she finds relief. You probably know all of this already but here is a link about it..

Thank you Carol. It is exactly this, the article was very informative and I didn't know peanuts may also cause this. She likes peanuts a lot and I know she ate it when she had the first reaction.

I think the name is the name in english, the translator give me the same word. It is a skin condition characterized by the formation of itchy red or whitish raised patches, usually caused by an allergy, I found these nontechnical names: hives, nettle rash

@snowy22315 it is not the same, the red spots appear and disappear by itself.

I am so sorry for your daughter. Until the doctor cannot know what caused the problem it's hard to suggest what to try. Do you use laundry softener? My mother had an allergy to this, the problem disappeared when the dermatologist suggested not to add a softener and to double rinse the clothing.

@nela13 May be something she ate, or a plant she touched. Is she using a new sunscreen or some other kind of body soap or creams?

@LadyDuck at first we thought it was a dress she wore for the first time in the day before, but now we are considering it could be peanuts.

The doctor told us that it could be a million things, we are now trying to realize what she or we did or use differently in the day before it first appeared.

it does seem very hard to tell what a person is allergic to. I also suffer allergies and have no idea from what. I hope you find the answer soon. This is very sad to endure for her.

bless both y'all's hearts, hon. i wish i'd a solution, but 'til ya know the cause 't'd most likely not be effective. allergists 're fine, but they don't test fer all thingies. i'd the need to 'lso see a dermatologist a few years back. found i 'twas allergic to all sorts 'f additives to shampoos/soaps, etc. 's well 's chemically dyed fabrics/goods. 'd to give 'way my leather jackets 'n boots :( could e'en be she's somethin' out'ta balance with her gut. the list's long'n regards to possibilities. sendin' healin' hugs ~

I just looked it up on a medical site. I’m sure your doctor will make a complete diagnosis and treat it accordingly. Hopefully, it’s the type that heals in 6 weeks. Beautiful photo of your daughter at the beach. I love the white sand.

I know eating too many oranges used to bring me out in hives and for my mother, it was strawberries. That photo could easily have been taken at one of our south-west beaches.
