I learned this flower Foxglove from a movie called The Intruder. Foxglove is a very beautiful flower but it is also very poisonous. All parts of the plant are poisonous and it can be possibly deadly. In fact I don't know much poisonous plants. No matter what, we have to be careful to this kind of plants as its beauty can attract us.

There are plenty of beautiful flowers that are poisonous, cyclamens, lily of the valley, hellebore, bleeding heart, calla lily, daffodil, hydrangea, iris, marigold, morning glory, oleander, tulips... well the list is very long.

@youless I knew for most, but I did not know about some very common. I bought a book of "edible flowers", because I like to decorate cakes and salads, in the book there is the list of those we must never use because they are toxic.

Foxglove! What a name! And it being poisonous also indicates that perhaps it inherits the clever fox trait?? So are these found deep inside the forests?

Sure, sometimes cats will eat some plants. It is hard to say whether cats will eat this kind of plant by a mistake.

Touching it is no problem. I think it is alright just not to eat it. Of course usually we won't eat it but I am afraid that animals may not do the same.
