I thought I had seen all of them over the years, but last night on the History channel they had one called 911-Air Force One. It was about what President Bush had to go through after getting the info on the attacks.
After getting on the plane in Florida, he wanted to immediately get to Washington, but was told no that there was info that more was going to happen and that he and the White House were in danger of a similar attack.
Air Force One (code named Angel) took off and with only 4 hours of fuel headed to Louisiana. Communication stated that fighter planes were going to take the Angel down so they climbed to 45,000 feet. The only problem with that was of the 40 phones on board, only 2 were sort of working.
A decision was made to head to SAC; an Air Force base in Omaha, Nebraska. This was the first time ever a President had ever visited there. He was immediately taken below where communications were available.
That is where Bush found out that the CIA, FBI, NORAD and National Security knew in advance about the attack that took place on the Twin Towers. Boy was he pissed. He said we're going to Washington RIGHT NOW!!!!
An extremely interesting program.

@nanette64 I know, this happens in almost any country, they know, but they keep it secret. It is insane. I wonder WHAT they know now and we do not know. I think there is something bad that they are preparing.

OH my goodness I have never ever heard that the CIA FBI and NORAD were aware of the attack. Of course all of those places are potential targets but did they actually know that plans were afoot that this was going to happen. If that is the case they are complicit in their murders. Wow you have shocked me. Do you still have the name of that programme? ( We do not get lots of your programmes here but there may be a chance it is on youtube)?

I didn't know a lot about that either @garymarsh6 . And I agree about the govt. That's just like the highjackers went to learn how to fly a plane here in the US and when they stated they only wanted to learn how to fly and not how to LAND the plane; I would have thought that would have sent a signal to the owners of the airports. There were a lot of tips that our officials didn't take seriously; after all, the US is the greatest country and we're untouchable @amadeo . Those high-jackers learned how to fly here in the US. And when they told their teachers they only wanted to learn how to fly and not land........well, I would have thought bells went off.
