Chinese Tariffs and Medicines

The below link tells you exactly why US companies were absolutely stupid in moving all their companies to China. Except of course, it was cheaper to hire employees over there. And after all, CEO's only care about the bottom dollar so they can personally make millions more. Now with all the tariffs in place, the price US citizens pay will be a lot higher for a lot of goods that WE use to make here. nbcnews.com/health/health-care/u-s-officials-worried-about-chinese-control-american-drug-supply-n1052376

Yuppers and it's a crock of you know what @crazyhorseladycx . It's sad to know that we were #1 in the world as exporters. Now, hell I don't even know where we are on the list of that but you can bet we've jumped up a heck of a lot as importers.

@crazyhorseladycx Exactly. And what gets me is that back in the 70's when I worked in manufacturing building go carts, mini bikes and dune buggies; I was getting paid $15; which was excellent. And a lines-man for the phone company was paid $22. I would have done that one but I couldn't see myself in a Nebraska winter up high on a ladder fixing a line. And I did pass all the tests too.

The problem with US made goods is that they are very high priced and when you don't have a lot of money it can be good reason to go with foreign made items.

I think we need to go back in time (1800's) and start from scratch @TiarasOceanView . It would be our luck that the same idiots would be around today though.
