I laid my head down at 7 pm and probably slept all of five minutes. I was feeling pretty tired though and nauseous. I got up and turned the t.v. on. I watched one or two youtube videos but really couldn't focus on anything so I turned the t.v. back off. I got up to unload the dishwasher and then came back to try to watch more t.v.
That's pretty much how my evening hours have gone. Today has been a bit of a lazy day for me, and this evening I haven't felt 100%. I think I'll turn the computer off and either lay here and try to sleep or maybe see if I can find a documentary or some sort of background noise.
I usually don't go to sleep for another hour or so.
What do you do when you aren't feeling 100%

Hope you can relax and feel much better soon. I usually get into bed and do some reading if I can concentrate.

I wanted to read, but I didn't know what I wanted to read so I watched part of a documentary of Victorian England. Of course now I can't find the documentary that I was watching so I can't finish it this morning.

I am going to try to make today a semi productive day. I have to figure out where / why I was charged for something on amazon. I woke up to pay a bill and checked my account to find that I had an amazon purchase. I haven't purchased anything lately, but I'll figure it out.

Have a good Sunday!

I didn't think I could focus on reading, and I couldn't think of what I wanted to read either. I have read to distract myself before, but usually when it is to do with my stomach, reading does not distract me.

At 60 I know what that feeling is all about. But you are too young to be feeling that...I feel a little bit of exercise walking around ..going through some documents etc., diverts my mind. Especially if it is not related to computer and television. Walking has always been my best friend. I often plan my finances while walking...even take my cell phone around for any calculations

@ScribbledAdNauseum Actually, walking is one of the best cures for stomach ailments. LOL. Even slow walk but long walk. It allows gravity to pull the belly and intestines and other organs downwards. When we are seated for long hours unless we sit right they get compressed. Digestion becomes slow constipation etc., not to mention circulatory problems because adequate blood does not reach the distal ends. Walking is supposed to be good even slow walk.

Walking might have helped me but unfortunately it was night time for me. I have walked to distract myself from certain stomach ailments.
I am feeling much better this morning.

I couldn't sleep either Saturday night, or last night. I coughed most of Saturday night. Last night I just couldn't really sleep. I used to read the boring parts of the bible to help me sleep.

I sleep miserably whenever I have a cough or cold. I'm sorry you were having a time of it on Saturday and Sunday Night. I hope you sleep better tonight.

These days, I tend to settle into my chair and nap and try to read. Tea works quite well. But sleep is the only thing that really helps any more.

I told a friend how I was feeling and she recommended tea as well. I hate having any kind of ailment with my stomach. Reading is a good distraction, but like you said it's a matter of trying to read, sometimes you can't focus enough to do so.

I could only sleep for five minutes, and then it got too late and I didn't want to go to bed until atleast 10:30.
