Yesterday I was not able to post a discussion because I have no idea to post. So I navigate to my photos in my mobile phone until I saw this old phonograph machine. It's not mine, I just photo this in one of the visit in museum. But I long to have a collection like this. Mine is also a vinyl phonograph that has no trumpet. It is a later version. I have few vinyls but didn't play in my phonograph because its not working. I also have cassette tape player and few cassette records but they are just in display as part of my hobby. We all have hobbies, isn't it?

I always have the heart for old stuff. I have a few collections, like old AM radio, old electric fan which is still working, cassette tape player, and even my television is still the tube type.

I have seen that in the museum here but what I have here at my German home is the old vinyl phonograph and it is still working. We have not used it for years now.

Maybe it is like mine also, I just forgot the brand name but it is very heavy. It can hold the bigger vinyls.

@ilocosboy Our brand is called Technique. It is more than 30 years old. We can also play the big vinyl record. I used to play the vinyl record of Pilita Corales before.

I haven't seen something like that. Grandpa's house used to have a big appliance to play vinyl. What I like about it then is that the sound is awesome.

It bring us back at time. Really good to listen when songs are being played here. That just change now, after the vinyls comes the cassettes tapes, then the compact disc, laser discs and now we have the bytes.

Christmas song, wow. What I enjoyed in vinyl are the songs of Imelda Papin, Marissa, Rico J, Victor Wood, Eddie Peregrina among others.

Yeah looks like kind of fragile to look at but during those days they seem to be the hitech gadgets of those times. I wonder if there are like that still works to date.

Maybe it will still work but restoration is very expensive now. It cost more than the brand new music players.
