Does Anyone Sell Products Online?

Have a question. Does anyone here sell your products online, like at Etsy or Zazzle for example? I know one or two of you that used to have an Etsy store. Maybe you could help guide me though the process. I have a ton of photos and have thought many times about selling them online. But not sure the best place to start. I have looked at many options online and what they charge. Can anyone give me advice on this subject. Any good or bad experiences you would like to share would be greatly appreciated.

I don`t sell on Etsy anymore, their monthly charge was not for me, if I had no sells that month I was in the hole, I had mine and Tony`s art up. I have my own website for my products, and a facebook page. Try to find a site that only charges when you sell an item. Photos and art is hard to sell.

Thanks for the advice. I have found many roadblocks in the past, and that is why I just didn't do it.

I have a friend who sells on RedBubble and in my experience buying on there I preferred RedBubble over Zazzle. I have bought something off Etsy once but my daughter did the shopping so I have no idea how it works. There are quite a few members here who sell on online sites.

@CarolDM yer welcome. folks're 'lways tellin' me how great my pics'd be. how they wish they could get such'n note cards, coffee mugs, etc. thus far nobodies purchased a thingy, lol. i don't fret 't though coz i'm not out nothin' but my time. 'tis most likely my fault's i don't 'dvertise, join their groups, etc. to me, sellin' rights to one 'f my pics fer pennies 'n then those folks makin' lots 'tis not right. fine art 'n zazzle used to be quite productive, but 'tis'n o'ersaturated market.

@crazyhorseladycx Yours are excellent. I agree and that is the main reason I have never gone through with it.

I have not tried that site but I will, thanks! There is so much competition, it makes it hard. Everybody is trying to do this. Most will charge so much in fees it is not worth it.

Have you looked at Shutterstock? I haven't sold anything online as you're proposing. Only my books on Amazon.

I use Zazzle, but haven't had sales in a while...it is at least free to use. I've tried other places but with no luck

@CarolDM The default is 10% but you can raise it....but the product will cost more for the buyer.

you said you saw or compared the charges, so am asking if their charges is too much, so I know too. you can try to sell in all store as you can, its good marketing strategy...Amazon, EBay etc
