We should receive the updated bid on the roof by the end of the day. The contractor will be cleaning out and inspecting the gutters at no charge in addition to doing the roof. It's a high, steep roof; and what is really needed are gutter guards; but that would cost around $7,000; and that is not money that we need to spend since we are selling the house. Found someone to do the brush hogging and cleanup of the yard for 1/3 the cost of another bid we received. One was over $1,000; and that is just ridiculous. So that's another thing that we can cross off the list. Next will be to start getting some bids on fixing the ceilings and the wall inside the house. Then someone to clean out the house -- all the furniture and small items and, yes, the piano. All for now!!! Photo Credit: Pixabay
