Bob's urologist called, he still has an infection. Bob will go pick up an antibiotic today. I think I will ask him to wait and take me with him.
I know some here do not believe in vaccinations and flu shots. I do. If the store has them in, this is when I get mine. I need my second pneumonia shot as well.
I am glad it is Friday. I will see you guys later.

there's so much ugliness 'n misinformation 'bout vaccines these days. i say, do what'cha feel comfy doin'. if'n ya can prevent yerself from illness'n the vaccines 'emselves 've caused ya no harm'n the past - go fer 't. don't worry 'bout what others think.

Yes, in my work environment I am exposed to lots of illness, AND I am around vulnerable individuals, so it is what I choose to do.

I think you should first consult your doctor then you have to take vaccination

@Starkinds There are some other vaccines I need as well, but two at a time are plenty.

I remember, over the years, having the REAL flu, not just some upper respiratory illness that someone called the flu. I had it at least four times. I literally had a headache that felt as if my skull would split open, and I would have sworn I was being torn limb from limb. All of that with a high fever.I remember at least four times. If I can prevent that, I will.

@shaggin This goes back clear to my childhood, and I lived with smokers. Other times I was in public a lot, and I drove a school bus one year when I got it. I am sixty six years old, so four times out of 66 is not too bad. That was type A. I believe I also had type B once but it was so much milder. I have not had it since I started getting the shots.

@GardenGerty right so you definitely have reason to want to prevent it for sure! Seems you are more susceptible to it then others possibly.

Now that he has had two surgeries and no longer needs a catheter he should heal quickly.

Sorry he still has an infection.
I do believe in the flu shot, got mine, went with my mom, to get her hers and pneumonia. I believe in protecting myself.

I have now had both pneumonia shots. I think they hurt afterwards. Flu shot never did, but I got sore after each pneumonia shot. That is why I got them on a long weekend.

I sure as hell do believe in vaccinations. I get that flu shot every year as I fall into the high risk groups, and make sure that the doctor gives me whatever boosters that I need. If we didn't have them, there are diseases such as smallpox, diphtheria, and polio making the rounds, and those we don't want. I find the anti-vaxer claims not just silly, but stupid.

I listen to some of the more reasonable opinions about too many vaccines too young, but for myself, I choose the vaccines.

Need often depends on circumstances. I started taking them when I worked in nursing homes and schools.
