Today (9/20/19) - Hundreds of thousands of people, mostly students, are demonstrating around the world against climate change and trying to raise awareness. 1920 - Jay Ward was born. He was an American animator, producer and screenwriter and founded Jay Ward Productions. He produced animated series such as Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right, Peabody and Sherman, George of the Jungle and Super Chicken, among other projects. He died in 1989. 1929 - Anne Meara was born. She was an American actress, comedian and playwright. She and husband, Jerry Stiller, initiated the comedy team of Stiller and Meara.
