A Picture Perfect Day

The Grand Canyon! It was so much bigger, wider, deeper.....vast, than I could comprehend. We took many photos....but not one truly does it justice. The weather started out cool but sunny. By noon it was hot! We spent 7 hours walking, and oohing and aahing at the spectacle before us. Gods creation is amazing.

The Grand Canyon must have been really beautiful and you walked around it for 7 hours so you probably took lots of photos. I am amazed the weather was so hot by the noon time. At least is was cool to begin with.

Our best friends' daughter had a job working at the gate at the north rim. They couldn't describe the beauty of the grand canyon other then to say its someplace that you have to see to believe.

Looks like you had better weather than my parents did when they went. It was foggy and I think it snowed. I would love to get out there someday and see it for myself.

@Morleyhunt my parents got there on a beautiful afternoon, but didn’t have much time to enjoy it. The next morning when they did, it was foggy and they couldn’t see much.

Wow! Did you go to the north rim or the south rim? Did you do any trails? I went last winter and it was beautiful but SO chilly and windy!

Photos never seem to do these sorts of panoramas justice. You can't get the 'depth' that really shows how awesome these places are.
