Narcolepsy

I didn't take narcolepsy seriously until recently when I have started seeing commercials on cable about this affliction. So what is narcolepsy anyway? Not just a weird story twist made up by a writer for reader interest? Nope. It is actually a loss of certain nerve cells and it commonly begins in childhood. One of the symptoms is hallucinations. With it comes an uncontrollable urge to sleep anytime and anywhere. This is rather scary, especially where children are concerned. Do you know anyone with this condition?

It is scary when you are losing control of your nerves or any part of the body.

I think I've heard of it but I'm not sure where since I don't watch TV like most of you canand I rarely read or watch the news. I don't know I'd anyone with it though. Interesting that the loss of nerve cells causes people with it to sleep whenever. I hope none of them drive if that's the case

@celticeagle and once diagnosed it sounds like if they are of driving age they should give up their license to drive. So they don't ever cause an accident when behind the wheel if they were to fall asleep.

I wouldn't claim having narcolepsy but I have fallen asleep at work a couple times.
