Difficult corner ready for oil

I'm actually almost done with the Acoustic Research AR-4xes I'm restoring. As promised, here is a picture of the corner that was "missing in action." I put new veneer in there, sanded it flush, and will see what it looks like after I oil that surface. The next step will be to use the various stains and oils I have here to match the replacement veneer with the original veneer. I am hoping for a relatively smooth transition. What are you up to on this sunny and hot Tuesday?

@TheHorse I had some several years ago but wasn't happy with them. Anyway, the fresh batteries didn't make any difference in the cheapo cam.

@TheHorse I remove the tomatoes, the peppers and several flowers. I have to pick up the roots, you do not want roots that rotten in your soil during winter.

Yep. I used red mahogany stain (my standard) even though the wood is dark walnut. It looks good so far.
