The "Hitchcock Signature" / myLot

If you are a fan of Hitchcock movies(Rear Window,The Birds,Vertigo,Psycho, etc.) you may already know this......Hitchcock became very popular with his fans for being an extra in many of his films. But, did you know that out of about 52 surviving movies he made cameo appearances in 39. He could be seen crossing in front of a building or standing in an apartment across the courtyard. Fans made quite a sport out of looking for him that he began appearing early in the movie so as not to interfere with the story. So he didn't distract the audience from the plot. What is your favorite Hitchcock movie? For me it is Vertigo.

I liked most of Hitchcock movies, hard to say which one I like more, but I would say "To catch a Thief", may be because I lived in Monte Carlo and I loved grace Kelly.

@jprtist With my husband we moved to Monte Carlo (from Italy - our country) in 1975 and lived there until 2006. After we retired we moved here, renting in Monte Carlo is extremely high, buying is only a dream.

I watch reruns of that nearly ever night now on cable. I watched it when it was on also.
