Marketing and Selling need a lot of effort and skill

I know of a person who is not so thorough when writing on some key issues and topics. But is just ok. Yet he is quite prolific on some sites and he is the highest post contributor on another site. However he has another skill. He has got a huge number of referrals on that site and on a few more. It is amazing to me as to how he manages to get all those referrals. Does he promotes and tries to sell to each of them? Or did he made use of Facebook. I too have tried selling and marketing on Twitter as well as Facebook. It is very hard to get people around to sign up or check out things. On Twitter, at times, if we share something with 30 folks, only 2 or 3 actually check the link. So it is about effort, patience and persistence. So any experiences of you folks on similar lines?

I think I am getting about the person about whom you are talking! If he is the same person then let me tell you that he pays the referrals in one or other form from his profits! His approach is simply great , he will be after you till you yield to him. He sincerely follow you at certain intervals through your Personal E mail on a site!

@AKRao24 he is a fine person but at times he does not follow some guiding principles. How come you know in so much detail about him?

@Janet357 hiring good and talented people within budget is also a very tough job. And retaining good employees is even tougher.
