These are the Acoustic Research AR-4xs I've been working on over the past few weeks. Their owner will be here to pick them up later in the week. In this kind of condition, the could command $300 or so on eBay, but the owner is planning on keeping them. Today, I'm off from work, so a friend and I are heading down to an elite guitar store near Stanford to get some instruments apprised. Should be a fun day. What are you up to on this sunny and cool Wednesday?

Those speakers are looking good and I think they are worth more than $300, though I haven't seen their performance! So are you going to get a new guitar for your self or for your friend or it is just a casual appraise during the leisure hours?

@AKRao24 I didn't play as many "new" guitars as I hoped I might. I helped my friend decide about a guitar that interested him. He played. I listened. Then I played and he listened. He didn't buy it today, but he is still interested.

They discovered that the bridge saddle is coming up on my friend's Collings D-1 acoustic guitar. He left it there for them to repair it. It will cost him $150 but he's still well "in the black."

@TheHorse Yea, most of my friends had some cheap Sears specials or something like that. I wanted go sound that I could play for the whole neighborhood I couldn't tell you how many times I got the cops called on my for playing it to loud.
