103 Degrees in my World

Fall has arrived at my house with a bang. More of the same summer weather we have had for three months and counting.
103 degrees on the thermometer. That is crazy. We have had a total of 97 days this year in the 90s. Records breaking every day. And I am in Tennessee. Sounds and feels like I am in the Gulf of Mexico or the Sahara Desert.
I did see another hummingbird fly through and visit the feeder. The birds are cooling off in the bird bath. And I am staying inside.
I know you are all tired of hearing about my weather but hopefully it will be cooler soon. Thank goodness the A/C is working.

It has been slightly cooler here in Florida, but I think it's more because our humidity is down than it is because cooler weather is setting in. We're still having warm days, they just don't feel as bad due to the lower humidity.

@CarolDM i’ve been so busy I haven’t even had time to keep up with the weather. Is there relief on the way? I sure hope it cools down soon!

We are having rain here where we are at and I am getting sick of it. Yeah glad you have air conditioner with it being that hot

You have just made me laugh. It looks like the global warming shows it's power in many places. A huge block of ice got off Antarctica 3 days ago, it contained 315 tons of ice and 210 meters thick.
In my country, it is still not cold. The hope the weather will not surprise us all with natural disasters this year.

@CarolDM you remind me the writer of the Hobbit. Same sense of humour. I can advice you take a quick shower twice a day, just water, wipe the sweat off, stay fresh, leave the windows opened, let the summer breeze in.

That cold front is heading your way (I'm sending it ... lol) Hopefully it will get south enough to lower your temperatures. Maybe you will get some rain?????

I'm in North Carolina. We are supposed to have cooler temps here the day after tomorrow. I will be happy to have them. I prefer it when it is cooler.

@CarolDM I hope that you'll get that break. It is currently 78 degrees but our high is 90. Then we get into the 60's and 70's during the day and the 50's at night.

Wow, did not no Tennessee had so many hot days. We probably had our last 90 degree day on Wednesday.

oh, so wish i could trade'ja, hon! 'bout to freeze my backside off 'n the horses 're jest miserable, too. yer breakin' records with heat, we're doin' such with the cold 'n rain 'mount. jest don't seem proper, eh?
