I Made a Killing at Kohls

Jack needed some new clothes so my daughter Kasey asked me if I wanted to go to Kohls with her. I don't really need anything but what the heck, I do like to spend time with my daughter so off to Kohls we went.
I headed over to see what new Simply Vera was in while Kasey took Jack to look at sweatpants. After a quick look at the new fall fashions, I headed to the clearance racks.
I found a lot of really good buys. The highest-priced item that I took into the dressing room with me was $10.80. Just my luck, everything fit. I did reject a pair of capri jeans which I really liked because the button was missing and I suspect it was a metal button. Too bad, they fit nice and were very cute.
I ended up buying 1 pair of ling white pants, 2 capri length white pants, a denim pull-on pair of capris, 2 shirts and a dress. I had a 20% off coupon. Total price for all 7 items $48. Saving, $224. The flowered shirt in the picture is Simply Vera which I could not resist.
I am going to bring most of these items to Florida, all except a dressing pair of white capris which I will keep for next summer here at home. I was very pleased with my shopping spree!!

Wow you did really good. I always loving checking out the clearance racks. You just never know what You will find.

I don't have the metal button and there was a little tear where the button had been yanked out.

@BelleStarr I was thinking adding another type but can see that may not work especially with a tear. I want to get some clothes for the winter and saw a bunch of new in at KOHLS last week.

@noni1959 I didn't see anything that tempted me in the new things except a pair of plaid vera pants and another houndstooth but they didn't have my size.

Congrats! I do love when I can see those savings. I do not shop at Kohl's but I do have a few items from Kohl's that others have bought for me.

Everything is well made and will get plenty of use and the average cost is less than $7.

@BelleStarr Yes, I've been in the store and I like the qualty etc, but I am cheap.. I go to goodwill for clothes.

yes ma'am, ya sure got quite the haul! love that shirt, too :) bummer 'bout that pair 'f britches, though't the right price, such would'a prolly been cheap to repair. i recall a western shirt i got my dad some years back't tractor supply. a pan handle slim regularly $65 fer $2.00 coz such 'twas missin' a snap. i knew he'd a snap machine't home'n lo'n behold, he'd 'lso a matchin' snap! took 'bout 5 minutes to get such 'ttached. he 'twas most thrilled, lol.

I did think about it but there was a small tear where the button had pulled out, I guess it was a little tight on the last person to try it lol

You have to take the time to browse the clearance racks there are great deals to be had when you add a coupon.

They were not looking on the discount racks but he found several hoodies he liked and some sweat pants. He wears a uniform to school so these were his play clothes.

I think so, Kasey has a 30% off coupon so I think we are going to go check the racks at some other Kohl's stores.
