The full title of this song is “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)” and was recorded by George Harrison in 1973. It is on his album Living in the Material World. This song became his second number-one hit in the U.S. It became one of Harrison’s most popular songs and he performed it at every concert when he toured. During the time he wrote this song he was helping the refugees of the Bangladesh Liberation War by giving all-star benefit concerts in New York City.

I don't know if you remember but he also had a house break-in and was seriously stabbed and survived and then succumbed to cancer @DianneN

@RasmaSandra I do remember. I also know about his cancer. As I said, poor George. He wasn’t my favorite Beatle, but I enjoyed him more when he went off on his own.
