An itchy face! Any suggestion?

A mushroom

I have no idea what happen to my face. The lower part is itchy these last few days. I tried not to scratch it. My "adams apple" (if I were a man) is itching too. My skin is getting dry and I already drink a lot of water the whole day. It is not even winter and I already have a skin problem. My friend gave me aloe vera leaf. I use the aloe vera gel for putting on my face for a few minutes and it helps. I have to go to a pharmacy to ask for any facial remedy for this. I don´t like to go to a dermatologist but if I have to, I must. Monday has just arrived here. It is midnight again and I have to go to bed. Goodnight! See you tomorrow in your discussions. Thanks for reading. The photo is a mushroom me and my friend passed by while walking. I don't know if it is edible. Maybe a poisonous mushroom.

It’s a mushroom? I thought it’s a giant egg lying on the ground. :))

Yes, it is a mushroom in the photo @sol_cee. There were plenty of mushrooms even bigger than that in the photo. Thanks @sol_cee

Those white mushrooms are not poisonous, but the taste is not good. I use Nivea cream on my face every evening.

@thelme55 I tried them when we vacationed in Trentino in Italy, they eat many wild mushrooms there. Champignons are not very tasty, porcini are the best mushrooms.

So, you have tried eating that white mushroom @LadyDuck? I only eat champignon. I use Nivea lotion on my body and use another facial cream brand.

No, I didn't use a new product @hereandthere. Wait, I use a new perfume given to me by a relative for my birthday. Maybe I was allergic to it. Aloe Vera gel worsen my skin and so I stopped using it. I was no longer using the perfume as well. Thank you.

@hereandthere No, I didn´t. I sprayed it behind my ears and some went to my neck. I have realized now that I have used a fancy necklace that might have cobalt in it. I am allergic to cobalt. That´s how my neck rashes started. Then I rub aloe vera gel on it including my face and this gel worsened my rashes and some turns to bumps.

I was thinking over these last few days. I wore a fashion necklace and maybe it contains cobalt. I am allergic to cobalt. I was scratching my neck at that time and got off the necklace from my neck. I have put johnsons baby powder on my neck last Saturday before I have rubbed my face and neck with aloe very gel. The gel worsened the neck and I got rashes and bumps up to my lower face. That was the time I realized I was allergic to Aloe Vera, too. It was the second time I have rashes and bumps after applying aloe vera gel. Idiot me! I forgot that 1st time that this happened a few years ago in the Philippines. Though it was not on my neck and face but on my arms. Thanks, @shaggin. I am feeling better now.

Now, 4 days later, how is your face skin ? Is it alright now ? What caused the itching ? Did the Aloe Vera cure the skin, or did it just make it easier ? My uncle had a rash on his face, all of his face skin was red, because of taking a cat, lifting it up and put the cat on his face ( my uncle's face).

@thelme55 you better edit your post. It seems like the Aloe Vera helped you (at first) but you wrote now that it made things worse. What do you think had started the itchiness?

Why do I have to edit my post? I have written the discussion before I know what causes my itchy neck. @stringer321 Yes, aloe vera was soothing my face and neck at first but the next day, I saw that it has worsened. I think the itchiness was caused by the fashionable necklace that I wore before I got the itchy neck.

I am feeling better now @stringer321. It is healing and the rashes have gone but there is still a little redness on it. The Aloe vera worsened it. I found out that it was my second time having an allergic reaction against this plant. I just forgot the 1st time. So, your uncle has a cat allergy.

Maybe it is an allergic reaction @just4him. I called some dermatologist in our city and they have no more appointments to give until next year. I will just go to the pharmacy and ask for medication. Hubby said it looks like the ecsema that I had in my back before and now it is on my neck and lower face.

@just4him the pharmacist recommended me to go for an emergency dermatologist above her pharmacy but the doctor was already gone. I can go back tomorrow morning for an emergency check up. The pharmacist sold me the medicine for the time being that I have not been to the skin doctor, yet.

I have a suspect that it may be an allergic reaction to an irritant in your house or it may be the air around is irritating your skin. The best I could recommend is to have it checked with derma since they are the experts to diagnose your problem.
