Rainy Day Monday Makes Coffee All the More Better!

We woke up to some light to medium rain this morning. It was a bit nippy with this drastic cold front that came through. It got down in the 60's last night! Brrr! (And yes, folks that don't know how much I hate cold weather; I am being a bit sarcastic here.)
Coffee was especially good this morning. Do you enjoy your coffee or hot tea in the mornings even more when it is damp and chilly outside? I find that it tends to make things better!
I need to get off the sofa here and get dressed and start the chores around here. Then we are heading to Baton Rouge to do a few things there in the errand department.

I always enjoy my morning coffee more when it's cold outside! I'm definitely looking forward to cooler weather. I think we're supposed to get that rain from the cold front on Wednesday and Thursday. We need it, so it will be welcomed rain. I just hope it clears out by Friday, as my son and I are going camping.

Rained all day here. These fronts are rolling in one after the other. I just wish it would have been a little cooler here today. It was in the 80's and humid and sticky. yuck!
Camping! That sounds fun. My girls and I actually did a solo camping trip years ago in Pensacola area. It was one of the state campgrounds. We enjoyed it. It was right on the bay there. My hubby was betting we wouldn't get the tent up. We won!

@moffittjc The projection I saw on the news tonight has it moving through the middle of the Gulf back east toward you. This one is a watcher for sure because the weather guys don't seem to know what to make out of it. Monday they said not a problem for us and Tuesday they said drenching rain for us. Today it didn't show much rain at all for us. So what will tomorrow (Thursday) bring???

@kareng It was hot and muggy here today too, with intermittent rain all day long. Looking forward to a slight cool down once all that rain clears out. I see now that they're saying there is a tropical system that might be forming in the Gulf and moving in over us during the weekend. That will pretty much put a damper on any fun I had planned for the weekend camping trip. We'll see if it all pans out like they say.

You need the rain though, don't you? It's dropping back into the 50s after the latest cold front passes tonight. Yechh! That means close to frost temps in the evenings. NO WAY! I hate jacket weather!
