A Day at the Parks

I took my advice and went to the park and then decided to go to both of them, so I got at least a half hours worth of walking at Bay Beach Amusement Park and a little more at Communiversity Park.
I went to Bay Beach after Communiversity. It was wonderful to walk through there without the crowds. They're starting to tear down the rides, but most of them are still up, just under their tarps.
The weather was perfect for it. A light breeze, not too chilly. There were a few people at each park wandering around. One couple I met at Bay Beach is going to the Packers - Raiders game tomorrow. They're from northern Wisconsin near the Minnesota/Wisconsin border.
With all the pictures to choose from, fifty, I thought I would show a picture of men and their toys. This is at Communiversity Park. It's so named because the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay is across from it.

Things are good here. =) I hope you enjoy your weekend! The kids and I are riding with my husband while he does estimates today for his side work.

so delighted ya got to get out'n 'njoy the day, hon. ya would'a needed rocks'n yer pockets here saturday's the winds howled. gigglin' o'er those boys'n their toys. my youngest 'twas most addicted to those lil trucks. which turned 'nto a bigger addiction with monster trucks'n rock climbers...

@just4him i used to catch the son playin' with his out'n the bull pasture. which one'd think 'twas a bad thingy, but seems our bull't the time thought such great fun. he'd chase't fer a bit 'n then the truck'd chase him. wish i'd a video 'f such. so many regrets...
no worries, more'f the same today 'n the wind 'tis bone chillin' despite the sun. hope ya don't get much rain, hon. i've not checked the weather since this past thursday, so nary a clue if'n yer still'n the path 'f the heavy schtuff.

@crazyhorseladycx We got about a quarter inch. I think we're done for a few days. I think we're now up 17+ inches on last year if I remember correctly from the last stats I saw. Over three inches this month. Less than last month. So, who knows, maybe we needed the rain. Doubtful though.

I had just gotten in the car to leave when they showed up and quickly grabbed the camera. I don't know if you can tell, but there are four cars in that picture.
I'm sorry it was so windy there. We had a gorgeous weekend. It's supposed to rain today. I haven't looked at the weather yet, but it's cloudy out there.

We are entering the time of year where it feels absolutely wonderful to get out into our parks and natural spaces (at least here in Florida)! I'm sure it hasn't gotten too cold up in Wisconsin yet, so I hope all of you up there get to enjoy the great outdoors for a while too! I absolutely love being outside, and I try to be in the great outdoors as much as I can (except for summers when I would literally melt from the heat).

I'd melt too. It wouldn't take much with your heat.
I'm glad you're getting the great temps now. Yes, it's beautiful this weekend. I got lots of great pictures yesterday. 62 today. I think the temps start going down tomorrow and staying down. The weather showed we're at peak for color. My tree out front looks like it's just starting to turn. I don't see much change across the street either. It's about 50% on change from what I'm seeing.

@kobesbuddy That's great you do. I confess I'm a homebody. Getting me outside takes a lot of willpower sometimes. I almost talked myself out of it yesterday, but glad I didn't. It was a perfect day to visit the parks.
