'Our' little church - How Great Thou Art

While in Wandering, Western Australia, at the weekend, we paid a visit to the little church whose roof we painted many years ago. You can catch up here: https://www.mylot.com/post/3312580/wandering-back-to-wandering. The church was unlocked so we stepped into the cool interior.
There were a few up-to-date newsletters on the cupboard at the back and we learnt that the parish was anxious to procure their own rector but funds were scarce. We also learnt that the nearby and equally tiny Marradong Church was being restored but wouldn’t be ready for the baptism of a local baby and the ceremony would now take place under a tree in the churchyard.
After a short deliberation, Vince took the liberty of playing ‘How Great Thou Art’ on the pedal organ. We then replaced the cloth over it and took our leave.
Sharing the collage with Vince is the outhouse/thunderbox/toilet which is a short distance from the church.

Wow, when I first saw your title, and then the photo, I thought the outhouse was the church you were going to write about. I was thinking, "hey, it's a church of one!"

@JudyEv There would be some intimate worship going on in an outhouse-sized church! It would just be you and God. Well, assuming God would want to visit an outhouse!

@MarymargII There is a tiny church in Bunbury too. I think it holds about 10 people.

@JudyEv It's funny there's a little country church I remember a few hours north of here in Ontario that is almost that small. It's a funny little landmark that people visit.

@JohnRoberts @topffer The toilet or the organ, John?? The church would perhaps hold about 65-70 but the toilet only one!!

A good lesson for me to be more clear about what I'm saying.

That was nice to visit. I did think the outhouse was the church.

I think the organ is always associated with religious music.
