Met My Bestfriend from Primary School Days

This morning we went to the wake of my sister-in-law's sister, and while there, I met my favorite classmate so many, many years ago. She had a poor eyesight now, but she still remembers me. I love talking to her about her present life, her family; she also asked me about how I am now. I remembered her during those elementary school days; she usually brings to school lots of ripe guavas which we ate before the class begins. We had lots of beautiful experiences playing and laughing together. It is so nice to meet long-lost friends who remains as good friends though we didn't had communication through the years.

That is a nice experience that you still remember each other despite the long time with no communications at all. I barely remember all of my elementary classmates and I have no idea where they are now.

This reminds me of my grade school classmate that I met last year. One eye was blind already and the other one is also failing. That is due to diabetes.

It is one of the sad things that age brings us; my friend has that failing eyesight; I didn't know what happened to her.

It is expected because the departed was a first cousin of my friend's husband.

Yes, they were living away from school and they pass by many guava trees along the trail, so she always bring a lot of guavas to school and gave them to us.

That's the best part of having school friends, it is always amazing whenever we meet them, even though a very long time has passed. I too met one of my college friends recently, after a very long gap and the time just flew, we were sad to go back home lol

It is lovely when you meet an old friend with good memories. Somehow those kind of friendships seem to last even if you don't see each other because they had a great foundation.

Wow, thats very sweet. It is very sad because I am not be able to meet my best friend in the primary school because he passed away when our place was being hit by a super typhoon and he is not able to survive. Meeting your best friend during your childhood days really brings back the memories of the past. God Bless both of you.
