I dyed it a bright purple color, which looks more blue in some lights. I know it does not look very even because I did not bleach my roots, and there is some hair that was not bleached from when I bleached my hair the last time. That hair did change, but is not the same color as the rest.
I looked on their site and there are some purple shades that will work better on hair that has not been pre-lightened. I don't think it looks horrible,but the parts that were not pre-lightened make the whole hair coloring look off.
I used Manic Panic hair dye....I used to use it and Special Effects hair dye all the time.
If you have dyed your hair wild colors, did you use Manic Panic?

I like it and think it works, even if it wasn't exactly what you had intended.
Are you wearing contacts? Your eyes look super green.

I am glad you like it, thank you! I do like it too....just was hoping I wouldn't have to bleach my roots every time they grew in lol.
I am not wearing them actually....but I did notice they looked different!

Must just be the lighting that's making your eyes look different. My eyes are a hazelish-green too. Hazel green changes anyway.
Yeah, the process of going through and bleaching the roots is a pain. One reason why I dont' dye my hair funky colors, though I would love to rock some purple hair.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It probably is, I am sure. My eyes are normally blue! Hazelish-green sounds nice!
Oh yes...it is a huge pain! That's why I stopped for many years....There are some purple dyes out there that you don't have to bleach your hair first

I don't dye my hair any more, but your different tones of color are very stylish now! It's seldom that I see a lady with only one color of hair.

@MommyOfEli2013 The chemicals in dye are dangerous, that's why I don't use them often.

@kobesbuddy Well the brand I use does not have the bad chemicals....although the bleach does for sure. That's why may just cover my roots with the color and not bleach them.

Well I wanted it to all be one color, lol....but it's unique I guess the way it turned out! And nothing wrong with not dying your hair anymore

Thank you, I dyed a dark purple over everything tonight though and I like it better now.
Blue, purple and red at the same time sounds cool! I did that but pink instead of red.

The only time it was wild was when I did my hair a copper color. My mother and uncle didn't like it. I liked it though. So I can't do copper again. Right now I have a dark rose gold color.

A copper color sounds very interesting....sorry they didn't like it. My family hates it when I do anything to my hair! I do it anyways lol...I figure it is my hair and my life. A dark rose gold color sounds nice though

I have never heard of those hair colors. Your hair does not look bad but I will say in the light it looks more blue than purple,

Yes, it did come out a lot more blue....even though it was supposed to be completely purple! It's probably due to the color my hair was before I dyed it though
