Changing Bedsheet and Duvet is Not Fun!

Yes, it is not. It took me half an hour to clean the bed and then changed the bed sheets and duvet. It was not hard for me to pull off the bedsheet and the pillowcases but putting new ones, was hard.
The bedsheet is a king-size and just imagine me, a petite Filipina, putting it. Grrrr.
. I think I will use the German beddings again to make it easy for me. German beddings are just enough to cover one person.
I think, if I am a chambermaid, I would get fired because of my slowness in changing the beddings. What kind of beddings and duvets do you have? Small, queen size, king-size?
Anyway, at last I am finished. Until next time.

We have a king-size bed; but we now both sleep in recliners due to health issues.

Your bed looks so inviting! I let our cleaning lady clean and change the sheets and bedding. Our king size mattress is extremely heavy for me to lift and our four poster bed makes it that much more difficult. We do have wonderful sheets that are organic cotton and large enough to cover the high mattress and king pillows. The comforter is in a duvet that was custom made as are all the window treatments and pillows. I make up the bed the minute I wake up. My husband helps remove the pillows at night.

That is not my bed in the photo @DianneN. That is the bed in the 5 stars hotel in the Philippines where we stayed. That is what I meant. We have a box spring bed and it is heavy for me to lift the matress and put sheets on it. We only use 100% cotton bed sheets as it is more comfortable for us. Hubby can´t help me because of his back. Though you take time but your work is perfect and very clean so its a good work. We don't have big size but can say medium size bad and do sometimes. We not do it regularly so less speed accuracy is main and you are way ahead from me in it

That´s great @allknowing. Does it mean to say that maids are common in India? It is common in the Philippines.

I have a king size bed but I don`t find it that hard to clean.... now dusting, that I would love to pass to someone else.

Indeed changing the bedsheet in particular can be tiring. That is why i don't like a comforter because it is too heavy to carry. Aside from that it should be taken for washing to professional washers.

Oh dear that is a long time.
Luckily I worked as chambermaid since young at many hotels when vacationing and working holidays.
