It has turned into a gorgeous day outside. The sun is shining, and the clouds are beautiful. The gray is gone and now they're the high white cumulous clouds. There's more gold in the trees, even my tree in front of the window, so soon it will be peak color here and then the leaves will be on the ground and winter will be upon us once again. 
In the meantime, I'll enjoy the beautiful fall weather with its gorgeous color.
It's time now to work on a book. I've been reading New Horizons - Predators and Blue Fire so I can work on book two, New Horizons - Blue Fire, Declaration of War. I might consider it for NaNoWriMo this year and write as a rebel. Though the idea of a sequel to Thread of Evidence is also a possibility.

We started out with cold weather, about 45 degrees today. Now, it's beautiful, with a nice breeze! Your new photo is gorgeous:)

tuesday 'twas a nice day here, got lots done outdoors. 'twas shocked a bit to see the winds'n bitter cold 'f the past 36 hrs didn't do much to the leaves'n the trees here. still vibrant green fer the most part, jest lil splashes'f color. prolly coz 'twas a wet snow 'n such insulated 'em?

@just4him lol, yes ma'am, snow :) they look finer'n frog hair today. e'en my parsley'n a few other herbs remain fresh lookin'. hopefully i'll get the rest harvested tomorrow.
got lots done, jest not 'nough. 'tis a beaut out here now. sadly i've jest not the energy to go'n tend thingies.
pushed 'nto next week? 're they tryin' to torture ya 'r somethin'?

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, they are and even more so when places like New Mexico get snow and I remain untouched by it. I'm liking the cooler temps, and I even had to dig the scraper out of the trunk and scrape the frost off the windows yesterday to go to the pool. However, frost isn't snow.

That's not sick, it's green with envy. Yes, the snow would insulate them.
I'm glad you got a lot done outdoors. We have a beautiful fall day here. Our snow possibilities have been pushed into next week.

The tree is gorgeous and would make a fun puzzle I'm thinking. We've had snow on the ground since after the time change I think although it took me a week or so to notice as I was out of it we have more ice than snow though it may be about equal. I got home today so have to work on that tomorrow slowly so I don't fall.
My husband may need to return home earlier than planned as there are problems with the insurance that was supposed to be fixed long ago
