I have decided to get back into some serious writing. I am wanted to start back with a Pen Name. A pen name is used when writing when you don't want to disclose your real name or it is used for all things you publish. I have been tossing around a few names. I tried to come up with a name from my grandchildren's names by combining names and/or letters but I didn't find anything satisfying. I did the same with my three girl's names. I am back at the drawing board and need your help. What would you suggest? I am open to any and all of your suggestions and I thank you all for participating. Photo: Pixabay, public domain

pen names're a fav 'r mine. very few folks know my real'un, not e'en the postal carrier, lol. i see that ms. @LadyDuck gave ya that website. sure wish there'd been one 'f those back'n the day. might 've made me pickin' such back'n the day much more simplified. *edited so say that 'fter visitin' that site, there'd be no way i'd use such. too much personal info given 'n reminds me 'f a data miner.

I´m a writer and I have been as to use a username for contests. Like what I selected here as a username, it had to mean something for me. Do you have something that means something important?

That was why I chose to combine grandkids and/or grandkids and kids names. Pretty much given up on that idea and why I asked for suggestions. Where do you write at,@marguicha?

I put in my vote for Victoria Miles. It has and old fashion yet strong image.

I always used my real name. But having a pen name is a good idea. You can have one related to your topics of interests that you write about.

That would be a much too large range relating to interests.

@kareng Maybe there is a word that could envelope most of these interests. Like I call my blog as Life's mixed bag. It is more like a personal diary.

How about Kareng You could use part of your mothers name. Or something that would go with what you want to write about.

I want away from my name entirely. I thought of maybe grandmother's names last night but I don't remember their middle names.

What are some first names that you have considered? What are you interested in? (If I was a gardener, for instance, I might call myself Rose Red.) What have you bounced around?
