Rainy Day

As I sit here doing a little Mylotting, I look out my window and it is gloomy Gus outside. The only brightness is the maple tree with its beautiful leaves. It is rainy, windy, and chilly. Hubby is out in the woods hunting. Of course he makes a Facebook post stating that he is miserable, cold, and wet because of the rain. I highly expect to see him soon. He will hang his gear to dry and have me search for his rain gear. He will most likely land in his recliner and doze off for an hour. Little Miss is not easily entertained on days like this. We are usually outside once the sun warms the air. She enjoys being outside. For the moment she is content playing with her Paw Patrol characters. I'll be heading to the kitchen soon to drum up something for dinner, and maybe bake something for Hubby's lunches. Little Miss of course will assist with the baking. She loves to help me bake. The Pioneer Woman is on Food Network. I enjoy watching her shows. She does have some great recipes and ideas. This afternoon I will hem up 5 pair of scrub pants that I promised I would do for one of my friends. Considering I have had them for 2 weeks, I better get them done. Hope that your day is great.
