Diary 10th To 27th October 2019

Diary for 2019 taken by me
Preston, England
October 27, 2019 12:23pm CST
A very quiet month for me. The book club meeting went well, with a chance to borrow the Convenience Store Woman novel by Sayaka Murata reviewed on other pages here. I did a lot of reading, along with catching up on my work on a steampunk novel Attending the International Film Festival took up a full week, and I got to check out a very nice new kebab house too, where they give you a weird tracking devise so waiter can home in on where you are sitting rather than just writing it down. Dreadful weather kept me in for much of the week apart from a little shopping. Arthur Chappell

We have a kebab house with the same system here, may be it's common in some countries.

I love that kind of weather its great to be inside for a while and read all you can. Sorry I don“t know the book. It must be nice to be in a book club like that. Good luck with your book.

@arthurchappell I reckon that that is a big problem for many people too. As long as you have friends that you relate to that is worth more than anything.

I've been doing a lot of reading and not enough writing. I really gotta get back on that.

I was in Czech Republic last week ... I think we stole all the beautiful weather. It was bloody cold, landing at Stansted!

The weather has been alternately dreadful and lovely. Usually within an hour of each.
