Now it is him

Hubby has this cold now as well.
I am much better, but he is miserable, waking up coughing and sounding rough. Other than that he is not too bad, though.
He did not get up until after 9:30, too late to make it to church like we planned. I told him to eat breakfast, drink a hot beverage, and crawl into the warm bed, using some Vicks Vaporub. He took instructions well.
There are some things he felt he had to do in McPherson, so now that he is up, that is where he is headed.
Me: I am doing my laundry, working online, planning my week. I may go take a nap, as well.
I think my little guy that I spend most of the day with just brings me germs in abundance. I hope this stops.

He had not had one for a long time, but I just had to share. When I did not work in school last year I did not get them, either.

@GardenGerty When you mix with a lot of people, you tend to get colds and whatever is going around.

@marguicha I work in the schools, directly with students with poor immune systems. I wash my hands constantly but I got sick again this year.

Yes. I still have a morning cough and congestion then I am fine the rest of the day. I guess it could be allergies.

I think I get sick from working in the school, then bring it to him.

Kids are sponges for germs. My mom used to drink a lot of stuff with vitamin c to prevent sickness. I wish I did that especially since I was the kid going to school and soaking in all the germs haha

I think his many illnesses made him more susceptible to what I bring home. I think the building make me sick.

@GardenGerty yeah, sometimes it make the immune system stronger and sometimes it is just a hope for the best when it comes to sick time season.

It may not be just him, it may be the building. But yes, I have lots of close contact and he always has a runny nose.
