I was planning to bring a post in a Dinner Today/Yesterday kind of a style!
But I was quite busy last few days, even though I did manage to take out time for Mylot.
So here is a post about things we have to unwillingly do at times during the festival days. One is the extra driving bit. At times, we are unwilling but have to drive to some places.
Then, we lose on sleep sometimes.
Thirdly, we sometimes have to eat outside food as we do not get time to prepare home food and are tired as well. So here is a standard picture of the outside food which I booked one day. Hmmm... well it was Friday Night.
The bad part was the food was very spicy. Now many in India like such spicy food, but I do not. But that does not makes me any less Indian or more a westerner. Does it??

Yes eating out is something I am not a big fan of. But we have to do it at times. I can handle moderately spicy food. I do not like too spicy one.Oily and greasy food is something I can not take well especially when it is outside food. You never know their quality of oil used and they reuse the same oil for few days. I try to avoid it at all costs.
Anyway festival is over and you can get back to your normal track of sleep and diet.![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

@arunima25 I am still on Holidays and some extra leaves. I took extra leaves as otherwise my Leads have some special "allergy" even to my one/two leaves here and there, and Diwali was a good time to get some leaves.
It is better to be happy and get some peace of mind ourselves. It is anyways tough to always satisfy other folks always.
But now, need to be on better diet and good sleeping patterns.

@arunima25 Yes and I am catching up a lot on Mylot and a few other sites as well, as November would be extra busy both at home and work front.

@Shavkat well, there were multiple things I and my family were in, and that was a big reason why we had to at times eat from outside.

@LadyDuck many folks in India, Mexico and a few more nations like Hot and spicy food. Europeans and American folks normally like less spicier, but some regions or countries within these continents might be having spicier foods.

Holidays are always a nightmare to the budget especially with the food. But I think it is worth the enjoyment of the guests.

@DianneN enjoying things even if busy with lots of work is a great spirit. You must come to India and especially taste foods of Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh to see how spicy can you handle.

There was Fried rice, rotis(Indian bread), ChickPeas vegetable in gravy and Black Gram Pulse(Dal). The Pulses and the vegetable were quite spicy.
