Rain, Rain and More RAIN!

Today was a very busy day for me. I didn't stop until dinner time. I got the hen back in her coop right after the morning critter feedings. She was ready to go back in and was walking around the coop looking in as if trying to figure out HOW to get back in. I was able to scoop her up and put her in without a hassle. Yay!
The rest of my day was spent doing some yardwork in the form of picking up more sticks and limbs, burning them and some trash and 1 liter soft drink bottles. I wanted the burning done before the rain started.
Today was supposed to be a nice day all day with no rain but the noon weather forecast said rain was back this afternoon. I wrapped up my work outdoors and came inside to do lunch and get the laundry started. I managed to do three loads, fold them all and put them all away. Yay.
I've been hitting myLot off and on today and keeping up with notifications pretty well. I hope I can continue at this pace because I hate being behind.
The rain started again late this afternoon with a fine mist. Around 7 pm we had a light rain. The forecast calls for 90% rain on Tuesday, 80% Thursday night, and 80% on Wednesday and Wednesday night. I believe we also have a chance of rain for Thursday.
Tomorrow, I hope to get some work done in the hallway where we need to store the wood pellets for our heater. The low drops into the 30's Wednesday so we need for the pellet heater to be up and running.
I'm headed to bed now and hoping that the rain keeps the wild critters in their den and not my yard and the dogs sleep all night without barking and keeping us all awake again.

i bet that hen 'twas ready to go back'n, so thankful she did such peacefully. trade'ja some ice'n snow fer that rain? been a miserable day here with more to follow. a layer 'f ice 'tis 'lready fallen. freezin' rain/sleet/snow. with the winds, our 'feels like' high today 'twas 19. barely made 't out to tend critters, though so much else needs tendin'.
hope yer able to tackle that hallways'n get those pellets'n. been burnin' 'em here ('n the heater, too) off/on since september. i curse those weather folks fer constantly bein' wrong, lol. 'nly bonus 'tis we're gettin' moisture.

@crazyhorseladycx We got them Monday evening. Good thing we are dipping into 30's and low 40's now. We also have a freeze promised next week. Ewww!

@kareng continual rains for the whole day saves me the work of watering the plants. But I prefer to work in the garden than be confined inside.

It just started to rain here around 11 pm. it`ll rain till Friday and then 35 that night.

I'm glad all the critters are present and accounted for. It's 50ish today with rain expected today and tomorrow. Hope you were able to get a good night's sleep.
