Hazelnut oh Hazelnut!!!

It has been a long and cold day. I went to a shop with my hubby and bought paper for printing, wholewheat flour, sugar and butter for tomorrow's baking.
When we were home, I opened the hazelnuts one by one with a nutcracker. I need 200 grams grated hazelnuts for tomorrow's hazelnut cupcakes. These hazelnuts were harvested by my friend from their hazelnut tree.
I was multitasking when I cracked those nuts. I was also watching Filipino tv series. Now my legs are aching because I stood the whole time in the kitchen for 2 hours knocking the nuts. Then I roasted the hazelnuts in the pan. Tomorrow, I will grate them with an electric grinder.
The hazelnut cupcakes will be eaten during our Halloween party. Yes, my friends are planning to have a Halloween party with the kids. That would be fun.
So, what´s up for today? I heard that there is a glitch in this site today and it took time to upload a photo. I hope the glitch is over now. Thanks for reading.

How is hazelnut compared to our peanuts?
What about to our pilinut?
I am only able to taste hazel nut wi Cabury chocolate. Though, i cannot really taste how good it taste though, but i love Cadbury with Hazelnut or almonds. They are crunchy to the bite and i like it that way.

I used to buy hazel nuts in a Manila church in Quiapo. But that's only for the Christmas season.

@thelme55 we don't have. Those hazel nuts are imported from Hazeltown, I think.

Hazelnuts are very expensive where I live. Years ago I lived in an area where hazelnuts grew. We went to the orchard and picked fresh nuts. My husband and I grind peanut butter and almond butter with an electric juicer. Hazelnut butter would be amazing.

Wow! So many hazelnuts! It is costly here; and I had seen hazelnuts (picture Only) at the nutella choco spread the my son loves to eat as his dessert.

Those are the hazelnuts my friend Grace harvested from her hazelnut tree. Nutella is made of hazelnuts that is why it is so delicious. Thank you @acelawrites
