Whats your favorite Halloween Candy?

United States

You know, I am sitting here thinking about it and I can't really give you a clear answer to that myself. I mean, I can tell you what I prefer now, but not back when I was young and trick or treating. Though, admittedly, I was one of those kids that didn't like doing that. Reese's are one of my favorite candies and I got myself a package of that yesterday. I have been good and haven't eaten a single reese's cup. I stopped myself at only getting one package as well! So, what's your favorite Halloween candy?

@JohnRoberts Ah okay, yes I like those too, but they aren't my favorite. Crunch bars are my second favorite.

Ah, I understand that. I had a delicious low sugar pumpkin pie the other day. My cousin made it for us. I am trying to keep low sugar foods here. We love our sugar, but two of us are pre-diabetic.

@amadeo I agree! I have had family that have lost both feet because of diabetes, and actually I think they ended up losing a leg as well. I will be sure to eat healthy, it's just not worth it otherwise.

We do not have Halloween candies here, anyway I only like dark chocolate, with hazelnuts and almonds is fine, but it must be dark.

We do not bother ourselves but we have some bowls of sweets for children if they happen to come to visit. Just in case!

There has not been kids coming around here for awhile. We live in a big neighborhood, it might be that they stay around the areas that there friends live. It is going to be storming here anyway, doubtful that anyone will come around. We did not get any treats this year at all.

@garymarsh6 We expect our temps to get down to the 30's (0 celsius) the next few nights. I think the rain is just going to be tonight though, the weekend will be clear.

All sorts of chocolate is my favourite. Nothing specific to Hallowe'en. Though my mom made popcorn balls at Hallowe'en. That was a treat.

Yum! I have only had popcorn calls a handful of times. Maybe not even a handful, truthfully. Yes, I don't really have a specific 'halloween" themed treat either. I guess I should have clarified that a bit more.

@ScribbledAdNauseum now I am searching popcorn recipes. We will have family with small people stop by. I can give them homemade treats.

@paigea Oh yum! I hope you have fun with that. I might have to talk to my ladies (friends) and see about doing some popcorn treats. Or maybe some coated pecans.

Honestly, I've never experienced celebrating Halloween for my whole life. But today, one of candies or chocolates that we are giving to kids is Twix.

Peanut M&M's are my least favorite to be honest! I dunno, I guess because they don't have as much chocolate in them.

We don't go much for Halloween over here - I've never had trick-or-treaters come to my door. I like most kinds of candy

@samysotelo18 I've been to one or two piñata parties before. I used to be friends with this girl from Chihuahua, Mexico and we would go to the Latino stores here in town. I've had Pan Dulce, Duvalin, Tamarind snacks..All sorts of things that I like and still get from time to time.
