Doodles’ First Halloween

Here is our baby at 6 months old investigating some pumpkins.
Now he is 11 years old and still investigating them.
Last year our son threw his jack-o-lantern into the woods beside his house. After those dead trees were cut down and removed, he noticed vines growing. He stopped by this afternoon with one of his many pumpkins. Amazing!
Happy Halloween! I’m going to get ready now for dinner at our friends’ house, and no, we are not wearing costumes.

cute picture. Cool free pumpkins. Lily stayed in on Halloween. We had rain and wind on Halloween. So I didn't get to help my uncle hand out candy at church. But I did wear my black cat shirt anyway.

@DianneN My black cat shirt actually came with socks. My grandmother bought the set for me many years ago before I found Lily. Yes, the shirt still fits. I think I have lost the socks though.

@DianneN we had about 30 way below normal. We normally get 140. needless to say my wife took candy with her to the office today

When I lived in Boynton Beach, there was a small field at the corner of Lawrence Road and Boynton Beach Blvd (now since developed) that had wild pumpkins growing there. A lot of people would stop by there every year and pick them out a pumpkin and take it. It was nice having a free pumpkin patch!
