Memo to self: don't bra shop with bad shoulders. Yes, I stopped by an "unmentionables" place that had given a presentation at a women veterans' open house at the hospital. They had spoken about how to "properly" get measured for a bra, how to put one on, etc. etc. etc. That is the funny thing about our bodies, isn't it. I'm sure guys have a similar problem with their underwear: just how do you have your jockeys fit you? The anatomy didn't come with an instruction manual, did it. Well, here's the thing: they told me that I need to get "re-measured" for a bra in six months. Sez WHO???? Here's the sneaky suspicious thing about this: they don't really have MY best interests in mind when they're selling the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders (see the Bette Midler clip below) for as much as ninety bucks a bra, do they? As they said in the movie All the President's Men, "follow the money." That includes when you're shopping for underwear. Here's the divine Miss M's take on the subject:
