Is Sunday a "sports" day in your country?

I decided against going to a concert today ($30 for a Johnny Cash tribute band--I'm not into Johnny Cash, though I have to play some of his songs in certain bands).
Instead, I bought some tequila and Gatorade, watched the Oakland Raiders football (Amarican) game, and did some cycling.
On Fall and Winter Sundays in America, many people "chill" and watch football (American). Parties are thrown. BBQs are lit. Alcoholic beverages are consumed.
In Sunday a "sports day" where you live?

@amitkokiladitya What do you do on a "regular" Sunday? Today, I watched Ameican football, cycled, spoke with friends on the phone, and ordered Japanese dinner to go. I did not shower or go to any "formal" engagements.

In the olden days when I was still an avid horse racing fan, I would go to the racetrack after lunch. But that was a long time ago when the racetracks are situated in the city.

@Alexandoy Sounds like a pain in the butt. Did property become too expensive in the Cities?

It may be, but I don’t participate. It’s hot stove/baseball awards season and hockey season for me.
So myLot didn’t help you make $30.25 today? Wow.

@TheHorse -- mulberry metallic. That's what my Porsche's* color is.
(*To prevent envy and thievery I cleverly disguised my Porsche as a Honda.)

Not exactly, except when there is a big cricket tournament or at times during Olympics.
But on certain cricket match days, Bars and Restaurants are quite buzzing.

I am glad I am on my own and no one is yelling go, team. Back in Latvia both Saturday and Sunday were the day's everyone was cheering for their favorite hockey teams, Either watching on TV or going to the arenas,

Not in my house as there are no die hard sports fans in the home.
